ABOUT Child Neuropsychological Assessment
Child Neuropsychological Assessment provides an in-depth evaluation for children with cognitive, learning and behavioral difficulties. An assessment is done not only to diagnose cognitive difficulties, but to obtain a profile of strengths and weaknesses to better understand the “whole child.” The findings are used to develop an effective treatment plan with realistic expectations.
Infants and children of all ages with a wide range of known or suspected diagnoses are seen for assessment, including:
- Learning disabilities
- Attention Deficit / Hyperactive Disorder
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Neurological Conditions (e.g. epilepsy, tic disorders, traumatic brain injury)
- Genetic disorders (e.g., Down’s Syndrome)
