Diana Trichilo, PhD, ABPdN provides comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for children, adolescents and young adults with cognitive, learning and behavioral difficulties.
The assessment process typically requires four meetings:
a parent interview
two assessment sessions for the child, teen or young adult
a feedback session
Neuropsychological assessment includes a comprehensive evaluation of your child's abilities and skills including:
Intellectual abilities
Non-verbal skills
Attention
Memory and learning abilities
Academic skills
Higher order planning / reasoning skills
Social behavioral functioning
Life Skills
Assessment are individually tailored and conducted by Dr. Trichilo at every step in the process, including:
Initial parent interview
Review of records (e.g., medical, school)
Behavioral observations
Phone consultations with professionals involved in the child's care (e.g., physician, teacher)
In-depth testing with an individualized battery of tests to evaluate your child's abilities and difficulties
Feedback meeting to discuss assessment findings
Written report with individualized recommendations
Attendance at school and other planning meetings
